Can I pull you for a chat?

Hello, my loves!

I hope you’re staying cool, drinking water and not making direct eye contact with your electricity bill while every fan in the house runs at full speed.

The UK has apparently decided it would like to cosplay as the surface of the sun, football has taken over approximately seventy-eight percent of all conversations, and Love Island continues to prove that communication skills are entirely optional when everyone involved is wearing swimwear.

Meanwhile, I have been indoors causing fictional people emotional distress.

So, really, business as usual.

PLAY & PRETEND ARC SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN!

It is officially happening!

ARC sign-ups for Play & Pretend are now open, which means Seren, Jake, Cai and the rest of the Solterra chaos are preparing to leave my computer next month and enter the world.

I feel very calm about this.

That is a lie. Liar told you that.

Play & Pretend has:

🏉 A female professional rugby player
💚 A former playboy who falls first, harder and with absolutely no chance of recovery
👩‍👦 A single mum and her adorable tiny accomplice
☕ Secret coffees, stolen moments and a man who pays attention
🔥 Plenty of tension, yearning and questionable decision-making
🚫 No third-act breakup, because I love you and also myself

If you love sports romance, found family, green-flag men and women who deserve to take up space in professional sport, you can apply below.

You do not need thousands of followers.

You do not need a perfectly curated account.

You do not need to post twelve times a day while performing an interpretive dance about Kindle Unlimited.

Enthusiasm, kindness and a genuine love of books matter far more to me than numbers ever will.

ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOTE, LOOK!

LOOK AT THEM.

Please admire the sneak peak while I stare at it for seventeen consecutive hours and whisper, I made them up inside my head.

There will be more Moonbound updates, snippets and behind-the-scenes chaos coming soon. This project feels completely different from anything I have written before, but it still has everything I love most: powerful women, desperate men, found family, sharp banter and romance (also magic and witches, wolves and other cool stuff. Wait should that be the marketing line?)

That is everything from me for now.

I am heading back into the writing cave.

Stay hydrated, read something spicy and remember: fictional men cannot disappoint you.

All my love,

Meg x

Hi loves, I know I’ve been a little quieter than usual lately, but summer holidays have very much been summer holiday-ing over here. Between kids, life, work, trying to remember what day it is, and squeezing work into whatever tiny gaps appear, I’ve been trying to enjoy the slower pace a little… even if my brain has absolutely not stopped thinking about books. And speaking of books: Play & Pretend is getting so close. 🥹 If you’re impatient and want to get your hands on Seren and Jake’s story...

I have some very exciting news, and if you follow me over on Instagram, you may have already seen me trying to act calm and normal about it. Spoiler: I am not calm or normal about it. I’m officially signing at RARE London next July! I’ve been attending RARE events for years as a reader, usually wandering around with heart eyes, a tote bag that is absolutely not big enough, and a bank account quietly begging for mercy. So to finally be on the other side of the table, signing books and meeting...

First of all… the subject says it all. Rugby. Thighs. ALL MINE. Book two of The Coastal Try Series is back in my hands. That’s right, edits have arrived. Which means I’ve entered what can only be described as the editing cave where time no longer exists, my to-do lists keeps multiplying, and every sentence suddenly looks suspicious. If you ever wondered what the author version of a rugby tackle looks like, it’s me currently wrestling with a manuscript while muttering things like, “this scene...
